A Personal Note About a Book Close to My Heart

Writing How To Buy A Home: Make Your Dream a Reality has been one of the most meaningful projects of my career.

For years, I’ve sat in coffee shops, and across computer screens from home buyers who felt overwhelmed, rushed, or unsure if they were making the right decisions. Many were smart, capable people, first-time buyers, repeat buyers, retirees, and growing families, yet they felt intimidated by the process and unsure who was truly looking out for them.

This book grew out of those conversations.

I wanted to create something calm, clear, and reassuring. Not a market forecast. Just honest, buyer-focused guidance from someone who has spent many years representing home buyers.

Why I Wrote This Book

As the owner and broker of HomeBuyer Brokerage—and a Certified Exclusive Buyer’s Agent with the National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents (NAEBA)—my work has always been rooted in one simple belief:
Home buyers deserve undivided loyalty and clear information.

Too often, buyers are pushed to move quickly without fully understanding the consequences of their decisions. They’re told what’s “normal,” what they “have to do,” or that they’ll lose the house if they ask questions or slow down.

This book is my way of saying:
