The Woodmoor–Colesville community sits in the northern section of Silver Spring, Maryland, along the US-29 (Columbia Pike) corridor and University Boulevard. Woodmoor was first developed in the 1930s–1940s and features a charming Art Deco shopping center at the intersection of Route 29 and University Boulevard, a rarity that draws shoppers and visitors from across the county.
The neighborhood is known for its tree-canopied streets, mid-century architecture Tudors, Capes, and Colonials.

• National Capital Trolley Museum (nearby) —Located in nearby Bonifant, this museum preserves the history of streetcars that once served the Silver Spring–Wheaton corridor.
