Forest Glen is a small, quiet residential community in Montgomery County, Maryland, tucked just north of the Capital Beltway (I-495) along Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring. Despite its small size, Forest Glen is convenient to the Forest Glen Metro station on the Red Line with quick access to downtown D.C., and the community sits at the crossroads of Georgia Avenue and the Beltway, giving it excellent regional highway connectivity. Forest Glen is known for its wooded character, single-family homes, and tight-knit community feel.
The neighborhood is also notable for containing the ForestGlen Annex of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, a historic campus with remarkable Victorian and mission-style buildings that served as a women's college, a finishing school, and a medical training facility across different eras.

• Forest Glen Metro Station — Deepest in the System: At 196 feet below ground,Forest Glen is the deepest Metro station in the entire WMATA system, requiringthe longest escalators to reach the platform.
